Getting my head around Knit

After two weeks of a total love hate relationship with the knitting machine, I think I finally got my head around the machine and came up with some quite nice samples. Although incredibly fiddly and intricate,  I actually quite enjoyed knitting by the end and found myself being able to think creatively in what I wanted my samples to look like. However, it took my so long to get my head around the knitting machine  and how to just do a basic stitch that my final samples do look quite basic and less developed than what I wanted to achieve. Also next time I need to considerer my colour palette more thoroughly and buy interesting yarns from the very beginning as this improved my samples massively  But all in all, I've learnt how to hand knit and use a machine in just two weeks, and produced a few quite nice looking samples! Win win.
